Upper Blackstone continues to participate in routine monitoring programs to inform our community of the prevalence of COVID and other viruses like the flu and Norovirus in the community.

Similar sampling is being done around the country and in other parts of Massachusetts.

For the most up to date data Biobot COVID data see https://biobot.io/data/#county-25027. See the attached document at the bottom of this page for a more detailed narrative.

Data for the metro-Boston MWRA service area is available at https://www.mwra.com/biobot/biobotdata.htm and

on the Boston, MA WastewaterSCAN dashboard.

Data from wastewater testing offers our community trend data for early detection of virus spread. At this time, it is not possible to reliably and accurately predict the number of infected individuals in a community based on sewage testing.
